At this exhibition, Safeware introduced its industrial smart airbag C3 in the smart safety zone. Safeware’s C3 is a wearable safety equipment that prevents serious injuries from falls and falls of workers. When a sensor embedded in the airbag detects a worker’s fall, the electronic inflator inflates the airbag in 0.2 seconds to inflate the head, Protects body parts vulnerable to serious injury, such as the cervical spine, spine and pelvis.
In addition, when an accident is detected, it can help secure the wearer’s golden time for rescue by notifying the designated emergency contact network of the accident location and situation. The sensor can be used continuously for more than 120 hours when the battery is fully charged, and the airbag can be reused by replacing the carbon dioxide (CO2) cartridge.
The C2023, which won the 2023 Edison Awards Gold Award and the CES 3 Innovation Award, was developed and produced purely with domestic technology, and is used by public institutions such as KORAIL, Korea Expressway Corporation, and Korea Electric Power Corporation, the military, and defense companies, Samsung, LG, and Hyundai Industries. It has been developed and supplied to over 550 organizations and companies, including POSCO E&C.
