Established in February 2022, GDI Solutions’ main business is providing a series of integrated and customized solutions ranging from research and development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sales service for gas detectors. We are developing products based on IoT solutions to effectively and early prevent gas safety accidents that occur in various industrial fields (confined spaces, plants, petrochemical fields, research facilities, etc.). At this exhibition, portable single gas detector ‘BELL MINI’, fixed gas detector, and flame detector were introduced.
‘BELL MINI’, which will be released at the end of this year, is a total of 16 types of single gas detectors to protect workers from industrial accidents such as toxic gas leaks, suffocation due to oxygen deficiency, and explosions and fire accidents due to excess oxygen. Based on the latest IoT technology, it shares detected field data through the web and smartphones to enable managers to recognize it in real time, and has a built-in NFC (Near Field Communication) tag, making Bluetooth pairing easy.
In addition, the fixed gas detector is a product that protects people and assets from gas safety accidents by fixing it to walls, pipes, pillars, and ceilings. We have a partnership with the German company MSR to provide distribution and technical support.
The flame detector is a model from the U.S. company FDG, which quickly and accurately detects fire flames using optical technology. It can optionally be equipped with an HD video camera, which can help identify the cause of a fire, and is known to have good screening ability for non-fire alarms.
An official from GDI Solutions said, “We developed our own products to present products that are really needed in the field, rather than expensive products that are merely innovative or products with old technology that are cheap, to numerous industrial and corporate officials preparing for gas safety. “I chose it,” he said.
He continued, “Our company has sold approximately 2 units of MSR’s ‘PolyGard2,000’ model overseas to the ESS battery industry in the first half of this year, and has recently received orders for approximately 500 units for domestic use,” adding, “In addition to single gas detectors, we also offer composite gas detectors and cloud sensors. We are developing a wide range of integrated solutions based on services. “We plan to introduce it as a complete product in the near future.”
