    Kim Jin-gyu, head of Naver C&PA Win-Win Cooperation, explained the ‘Status of Naver Small and Medium Business Win-Win Cooperation’ at the 12 International Council of Small and Medium Business World Congress (ICSB World Congress) ‘K-Entrepreneurship Global Forum (ICSB Conference)’ held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju on the 2023th. did. 

    ‘Flower’, a win-win cooperation project for small and medium-sized businesses run by Naver, is a project that started in 2016 to support the success of small businesses and creators. Director Kim introduced, “Project Flower is a project that started in 2016 to support the discovery and growth of small and medium business operators,” and added, “There is a possibility of growth through online, including solo creators and creative creators of SMEs (small and medium-sized businesses).” “This is a project that started with the intention of supporting all those who have this,” he added.

    Director Kim then explained, “We systematically supported growth through Naver Fountain Fund, online store, offline store, and online-offline SME full care system,” adding, “We also fostered AI-related technology, growth package system, and startups.” . 

    Director Kim, who revealed that 3,700 billion won worth of capital has been invested in the support system to date, said, “We are making a long-term investment by adding Naver’s technology to the diversity of creators, and we are making progress based on the philosophy of growing the business together.” He said. 

    In fact, we are operating a Partner Square base to support small and medium-sized business owners and creators, and have established online and offline bases all over the country. Next, the small business digital transformation project was introduced. 

    Director Kim said, “When I actually went to the market, I heard that elderly people were having a hard time due to lack of accessibility. To solve this problem, we registered small business stores online and converted them to digital so that they could be found by general users, Naver Maps, etc. “Business is also progressing,” he said. 

    He continued, “We are providing promotional support by discovering small business owners and introducing them to Naver every month, and we are also pursuing various policies such as online sales channel support through funding, digital promotional training, and policy subsidy recommendation service.”

    Finally, Director Kim said, “We had planned to make about 1 flowers bloom a year, but much more flowers bloomed than this. “He will conduct business with the direction and philosophy of mutual growth,” he said. 

    Meanwhile, this forum was co-hosted by the Small and Medium Venture Business Research Institute and the Small and Medium Venture Business Policy Society and sponsored by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The conference was planned to provide the latest information and insights to businesspeople and citizens by introducing the meaning, future direction, and overseas cases of entrepreneurship.
