Youngin Biotech Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Young-ho) announced that it will participate in ‘MEDI EXPO KOREA 6’ held at EXCO in Daegu for three days from June 30 (Fri) to July 7 (Sun).
Youngin Biotech is a company that develops non-surgical treatment devices that can treat joint disease and damaged muscles without surgery by delivering shockwave energy from outside the body. Established an affiliated research institute to develop extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT) equipment, and also prepared measurement equipment.
Through this exhibition, Youngin Biotech is planning to introduce ‘Array piezo’. ‘Array piezo’ is composed of about 200 piezoelectric elements, and can use both piezo focusing and radial shock wave energy, so it can be delivered safely and precisely to areas with musculoskeletal disorders.
An official from Youngin Biotech said, “The piezoelectric element array seating technology and frequency noise removal technology, which are our own technology integrated into the inverted hemispherical surface, provide a safe treatment environment.” It is characterized by being able to deliver regularly and stably,” he explained.
In addition, the radial pressure wave device is a system in which a propellant launched by compressed air and an applicator come into contact to generate shock wave energy. Vibration is minimized with a low-noise motor method and a special handpiece anti-vibration system.
Youngin Biotech said, “We started developing our extracorporeal shock wave treatment equipment to differentiate it from existing products. In particular, we invested a lot of money to measure the relationship between energy density and pressure,” he said. In the future, we plan to introduce 8 types of extracorporeal shock wave therapy devices, ‘Superstar’ series.”
