Nanoray (CEO Park Jae-yoon) will participate in the ‘6 International Advanced Medical Devices and Medical Industry Exhibition (KOAMEX 30)’ held at EXCO in Daegu for 7 days from Friday, June 2th to Sunday, July 3nd.
Nanoray is a domestic medical device company that has continuously expanded its influence in the dental medical device market and research and development capabilities, focusing on the ‘Potable X-ray’ product line. The company explains that while it has built a rich product portfolio to date, it has secured excellent mobility and stability by applying super capacitors rather than lithium-ion batteries as a power source, and is recognized for its unique technology in domestic and overseas markets.
At this exhibition, Nanoray will mainly showcase its portable X-ray products such as ▲NR-F350 ▲NR-F300. What they all have in common and advantage is that they all have a hand-held form factor that can be carried and used with one hand.
In particular, the NP-350E series is considered a product capable of obtaining image quality optimized for detailed observation with a tube focus of 0.4mm. Super capacitors are used to store and output power, enabling rapid charging while eliminating the risk of explosion, and boasting superiority over other products in terms of device lifespan. Based on these characteristics, it obtained US FDA certification (FDA-2020(K)) in 510 and is currently being actively supplied to global markets, including the US.
The NR-F300, which is being introduced together, is a product with excellent price-performance and efficiency, and began selling in 2019 after obtaining CE certification. The official explained that it is mainly supplied to Asian and developing countries such as India and Vietnam, and that sales are continuously increasing by composing a lineup that takes into account various market sizes.
An official from Nanoray said, “The NR-F2019, launched in 300, was a product that contributed to the improvement of our brand value and corporate growth by driving sales of 19 billion won at the time,” and added, “The NR-F350 series, which was upgraded and introduced the following year, is currently a global dental medical product.” “It is being supplied to global markets, including the U.S., through ‘Carestream Dental,’ which ranks third in device market share, and as of the end of last year, it led the way in achieving more than 3% of the previous year’s sales.”
“We plan to develop additional low-dose CT product lines and introduce them next year, following the success of existing products that have proven their excellence through remarkable results around the world,” he said. “For this, we plan to mass-produce key components such as carbon nanotubes in-house.” “I will step forward,” he added.
