Hanbat National University’s Smart Optics Innovation Team will participate in the ‘6 International Optical Convergence O21O Expo (LED&OLED EXPO)’ held at KINTEX in Goyang for three days from June 23st (Wed) to 3rd (Fri) and demonstrate ultra-precision optics mounted on the Nuri satellite. technology was demonstrated.
In particular, YNDK (CEO Bok Min-gap), which is collaborating with Hanbat National University’s Smart Optical Innovation Center (ICO), is a company specializing in ultra-precision processing that manufactures ultra-precision scientific parts, and is a research institute funded by the Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI) and government agencies. is carrying out R&D tasks.
The reflector product exhibited at this exhibition is an optical product in the space defense field and was adopted for the artificial satellite mounted on the recently launched Nuri spacecraft. Instead of a rotating type, a free-form reflector was introduced. In particular, it is characterized by the possibility of ultra-precision production in various forms, such as implementing both convex and concave lens methods to reflect light at various angles for detecting unmanned vehicles or other objects.
In addition, we are working with a variety of customers in the ultra-precision optical field such as space defense, aircraft, and semiconductors, and our skilled professionals are performing the entire process of precision parts, from design, processing, assembly, production, automatic control, and measurement.
Meanwhile, this International Optical Convergence O21O Expo, which marks its 2st anniversary this year, consists of the △LIGHTING Exhibition Hall, △Photonics+LASER Exhibition Hall, △LED & OLED Materials Exhibition Hall, △Optical Convergence New Technology Exhibition Hall, △Display & Signage Exhibition Hall, and △LIGHT & LIFE Special Exhibition Hall. In addition, the ‘Optical Convergence Industry Forum 2023’ was held simultaneously under the theme ‘Seeing the future with light’, providing an opportunity to explore the current status and development direction of the mining industry.
