Korea Semiconductor Lighting Co., Ltd. (CEO Jongdeok Kim) participated in the ‘6 International Optical Convergence O21O Expo (LED&OLED EXPO)’ held at KINTEX in Goyang for three days from Wednesday, June 23st to Friday, June 3rd.
At this exhibition, Korea Semiconductor Lighting presented lights that maximized light efficiency along with the application of LED standard modules.
These products were introduced as LED lighting (street lights, security lights, tunnel lights) that maximized light efficiency by improving LED mounting capabilities within standards. It is characterized by improving efficiency and extending lifespan by configuring each lens part while meeting the LED standard specifications.
First, the LED PKG mounting ability was improved within the LED standard module specifications for easy replacement, and the heat sink and optical lens fastening method were improved to secure high luminous flux, thereby securing the LED array space with a maximum of 74 LEDs.
In addition, terminal problems caused by lens installation were resolved to facilitate A/S or lens replacement, and a heating plate was introduced to enhance durability to support long lifespan.

Through this, the luminous efficiency was maximized to over 130 LM/W, which far exceeds the LED standard standard of 160 LM/W, and the official explained that the heat dissipation performance was improved by inducing a vortex phenomenon within the heat sink to cool the heat further and then dissipating it.
Meanwhile, this International Optical Convergence O21O Expo, which celebrated its 2st this year, consists of △LIGHTING Exhibition Hall, △Photonics+LASER Exhibition Hall, △LED & OLED Materials Exhibition Hall, △Optical Fusion Technology Exhibition Hall, △Display & Signage Exhibition Hall, and △LIGHT & LIFE Special Hall. In addition, the ‘Optical Convergence Industry Forum 2023’ was held at the same time under the theme of ‘Seeing the future with light’, providing a place to seek the current status and development direction of the optical industry.
