IAI (CEO Boaz Levy, hereinafter referred to as IAI) announced that it will participate in the ‘6th International Maritime and Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX 7)’ held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 in Busan from Wednesday, June 1 to Friday, June 13. .
IAI is a global aerospace and defense company that innovates and provides cutting-edge technologies in space, aviation, land, maritime, cyber and homeland security. IAI combines a ‘start-up nation’ spirit and decades of field-proven experience to provide customized solutions that meet customer requirements.
Through participation in MADEX, the goal is to introduce a variety of battle-proven maritime systems and seek opportunities for cooperation with Korean defense companies to build partnerships for continued growth and development in the maritime sector.
Among the main exhibition items, the ‘ship air defense system’ is a modular air defense solution that provides combat management capabilities to respond to various threats and allows the user to control the system configuration. The ship radar that will be introduced together is a next-generation digital AESA radar that is a situational awareness solution for small and medium-sized ships such as OPVs, high-speed boats, and special operations ships. The ship attack system provides multi-mission long-range suicide drones, long-range surface-to-surface missiles capable of precision strikes in all weather conditions, advanced next-generation surface-to-surface missiles based on the battle-proven Gabriel missile series, and anti-ship and ground attack capabilities with subsonic flight.

An IAI official said, “We are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the defense industry. “In particular, we have been developing cutting-edge sensors and electronic warfare systems for ships to enable ships to perform their missions effectively at sea,” he said. “At the IAI Innovation Center, new cutting-edge technologies are developed and integrated into existing and future projects. The center promotes technological diversity, entrepreneurship and collaboration with startup companies and operates like a startup accelerator through significant investment. “Engineers have the opportunity to develop cutting-edge technologies within 13 weeks, and technologies in the fields of robotics, autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, space and satellites have been developed and integrated into IAI’s product line.”
