    Gangnam Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Tae-yoon) will present Busan Techno Park’s ‘Busan High-Tech’ at the ‘6th International Maritime and Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX 7)’ held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 in Busan from Wednesday, June 1th to Friday, June 13th. Jointly participated in the exhibition booth of the ‘Maritime Defense Innovation Cluster Creation Project Promotion Team’.

    Busan Techno Park is actively working on the ‘Busan Civil-Military Defense Cooperation Industrial Ecosystem Development Project in the High-Tech Industry Sector’, which is being promoted in cooperation with Busan City, the Republic of Korea Navy, and Korea National Maritime University to establish an ‘advanced maritime defense R&D system’ and ‘foster an AI science and technology powerhouse.’ We have formed the ‘Busan High-Tech Marine Defense Innovation Cluster Creation Project Promotion Team’.     An official said, “The minesweeper is a new type of minesweeper, and is the latest minesweeper developed with our company’s pure technology from the basic design in 1993 to construction in 1999. Equipped with search and minesweeping functions, it can not only improve its ability to carry out anti-mine warfare operations, but also effectively respond to maritime operations to ensure the safety of major ports and maritime traffic routes,” he said. “In addition, this ship is capable of searching for mines in shallow and deep seas.” “It is equipped with various possible equipment, so it has improved performance and power compared to existing ships, and at the same time, it has proven excellent performance through ‘real-line impact tests’ and test evaluation results.”
