The ‘Bleisure Travel’ program being operated this time is a customized tourism product for business travelers who enjoy ‘bleisure’, a compound word combining ‘business’ and ‘leisure’, and is aimed at overseas companies and buyers who participated in Seoul Food 2023 for business purposes. We provide opportunities for tourism in Korea and provide new experiences and interesting things to see about Korea.
‘Bleisure Travel’ is a seven-part tour program that visits popular tourist destinations in Goyang-si or famous attractions in Seoul, where KINTEX, where Seoul Food 2023 is held, is located, starting from Monday the 7th, the day before the exhibition, to Saturday, June 29, the day after the exhibition ends. It operates once or twice daily until. KOTRA will support program promotion and on-site booth operation, and the Korea Tourism Organization will be in charge of program development and operation.
First, the ‘Seoul’s Past, Present and Future’ tour, which will be held on the first day, Monday, the 29th, includes ‘Gwangjang Market’, where you can experience the charm of Korea’s various food and beverages and traditional markets, and ‘Jogyesa Temple’, where you can experience burning incense. ‘ etc.
In addition, the next day, a ‘meeting of cutting-edge mobility technology experience and kimchi making experience’ will be held. Visit ‘Hyundai Motor Studio Goyang’, Korea’s largest experiential automobile theme park, and experience futuristic mobility. Afterwards, you can enjoy Korean barbecue along with the experience of making ‘Yeolradish Kimchi’, Korea’s representative traditional food. In particular, you can experience Korea’s jjimjilbang culture, which foreigners are very interested in, on the third day.
On Thursday, June 6, under the concept of ‘Goyang Local Tour’, you can enjoy a walk at Ilsan Lake Park like a Korean and then experience local food such as rose ade with the motif of Goyang City’s poem ‘Rose’. Meanwhile, ‘Seoul Food 39’, which will be held in 1,316 countries, 2,515 companies, and 2023 booths, will open on Tuesday the 30th and run until Friday, June 6 at KINTEX in Goyang-si.
