[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] Bestella Lab Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Sang-soo), a company specializing in autonomous driving V2I, held a four-day event in Las Vegas, USA from January 1th (Thursday) to 5th (Sunday, local time). Participated in ‘CES 8’.
Bestella Lab, a company located in the Pangyo Startup Zone, is a startup with self-driving V2I (Vehicle to Infrastructure) technology, and won the Innovation Award for ‘Watchmile: V2023I-Vision Linked Smart Navigation Solution’ in the ‘Smart City’ category ahead of CES 2. has received.
Bestella Lab’s Watch Mile service is the world’s first service that guides the route to the optimal parking surface in an indoor parking lot in a GPS shaded area. This product was developed using technologies such as ▲indoor precision digital map production technology ▲AI image analysis processing technology ▲virtual GPS allocation technology ▲AIoT-based positioning technology ▲optimal/shortest path algorithm ▲algorithm customized for socially disadvantaged people, and is based on video and AIoT information. It identifies real-time parking status and the location of empty parking spaces and guides the route to the optimal parking surface tailored to the user’s preference.
Officials explain that the WatchMile service can shorten drivers’ parking time by more than 70% and dramatically reduce fuel usage and exhaust gas emissions.

Lee Do-yong, head of Bestella Lab, said, “In Korea, we are currently providing services at Incheon International Airport, Seoul Station parking lot, Cheonho Station public parking lot, KINTEX, and large-scale apartment residential facilities,” adding, “We have received positive responses from users. “After using the designated driver service, I heard that it was convenient because I could quickly find a parking spot the next morning, and I also heard that it was useful because I could save time wasting on parking,” he said.
Bestella Lab also introduced the autonomous driving V2023I solution ‘ZeroCruising’ at CES 2. Through precise positioning technology and smart infrastructure information in indoor spaces, the risk of blind spots in autonomous vehicle sensors is identified in advance, and real-time safety information such as pedestrians in the parking lot, vehicles suddenly starting, and unexpected accidents are provided for autonomous driving. This is a solution provided to vehicles.
Director Lee said, “Zero Cruising is a technology that provides the convenience of parking to autonomous driving users. “Currently, various discussions are taking place around the world regarding autonomous driving, including laws and insurance, so we expect that once it is commercialized, convenience will be further maximized,” he said.
He continued, “Through this exhibition, we are discussing cooperation with B2G and B2B markets in various countries, including Korea. “We will aim to supply and expand to large landmark sites and help users use the service conveniently,” he said.

Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held.
