Daekwang Enterprise (CEO Woongjin Lee) will participate in ‘KOBA 5 (16st International Broadcasting, Media, Sound and Lighting Exhibition)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Tuesday, May 19th to Friday, May 2023th. revealed.
Daekwang Enterprise is the official importer of camera supplies such as Sirui and LowPro, and will mainly showcase Sirui products at this exhibition.
SIRUI, a brand of high-quality filming equipment at reasonable prices, has the ambition to challenge the video market by going beyond tripods and releasing a large number of new products such as video lenses and lighting. Sirui, which started in 2001, stands out in tripods and heads among filming equipment, and the official explains that it is showing its long-term power as a strong player in the camera equipment market. As the video-related content industry has recently expanded, Sirui is also following this trend and gradually expanding its scope in the video equipment market by releasing various new products.
The anamorphic lens released by Sirui is a product that popularizes the expensive anamorphic lens used in movies and advertisements. The unique horizontally long video, beautiful bokeh, and beautiful blurring effect when exposed to light were enough to elicit a positive response from consumers. Currently, APS-C frame lenses with angles of view of 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 75mm are on sale.
With the spread of full-frame mirrorless, additional anamorphic lenses for full-frame were released, and 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 135mm secured a wider range of angles of view compared to previous models, making it possible to depict detailed people as well as shoot majestic landscapes. It was considered an advantage.
In addition, a 35mm full-frame carbon lens was recently released. Part of the body was made of carbon material, making it ultra-light, and it was designed to be small and light enough to be mounted on a drone. Cine zoom lenses with 24mm, 35mm, 50mm and 28-85mm angles of view have the advantage of unique vintage warm colors, clean image quality, smooth control, and reasonable prices, and are attracting attention among one-person media and small studios.
Additionally, Sirui continues to release lighting for video. Starting with the e30b, which can be used on the go, the c60 series was released, and the c150 series and c300 series are scheduled to be released in the future. Lighting that can be applied to various shooting scenes, such as the bar-type t60 and t120, the bendable b25r, and the automatically inflating a100b, is also receiving attention.
An official from Daegwang Enterprise said, “Sirui products not only guarantee appropriate quality but also offer reasonable prices. As a renowned tripod brand, we also launched a lighting stand made of carbon material, which is receiving positive response as a stand that is strong and sturdy to move.” .
