Denti Road Co., Ltd. (CEO Han Hoon-seop) announced that it will participate in ‘BIO KOREA 5 (Bio Korea 10)’, which will be held at COEX in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, May 12th to Friday, May 3th.
Dentirode researches and develops ICT-IOT based oral digital healthcare and provides ‘Smart denture system’, which consists of Smart denture (denture case), KIOSK Smart denture cleaner, and Exclusive application (APP) for smart denture as its main products. I’m doing it. As the global population is aging, the number of elderly patients in the dental industry is increasing, and solutions for denture cleanliness and oral health are emerging as a new market. Accordingly, Denti Road aims to lead the way as a company that realizes safe social activities for the elderly and the socially disadvantaged and improves public oral health with creative and innovative products.
This exhibition mainly showcases ‘Kiosk Denture Sterilizer and Washer’, ‘Smart Denture Case’, and ‘Smart Dentures’.
Among these, the kiosk denture sterilizing washer is an IOT product developed to provide digital experiences for the elderly and improve oral health in public facilities. The company explained that the HOCL automatic sterilization system, which sterilizes dentures and removes bad breath at the same time, has proven to be safe with 99.99% sterilizing power through KTR (Korea Testing & Research Institute) tests. The kiosk screen video creates a UI tailored to the eye level of seniors and guides them so that they can experience digital experiences on their own.
In addition, the smart denture case, which contains the denture wearer’s information such as name and contact information, is linked to the kiosk denture sterilizer and washer to prevent dentures from being lost or mixed up in elderly people using public facilities such as senior welfare centers and public health centers, and to customize the dentures by confirming cleaning information. There is an advantage in that oral care is possible.
In addition, Dentilord’s smart dentures are equipped with NFC (NFC) needles using proprietary technology, allowing the denture wearer’s personal information (name, blood type, characteristics, etc.) to be stored. This helps secure golden time by quickly checking medical data in emergency situations.
It is known that approximately 640 million people in Korea currently use dentures. Accordingly, a Denti Road official said, “Dentures are dental prosthetics that help with nutritional intake by restoring chewing ability and contribute to maintaining overall health. In particular, when the front teeth fall out, many people complain that they feel psychologically rejected in social life, keep shrinking, and lose confidence. There are also many elderly people. At this time, dentures restore the appearance of teeth and are a great help in helping patients gain confidence in social life. However, most denture users are elderly and there is a lack of information on denture sterilization and cleaning, so there are many cases where they are not managed properly. Accordingly, we have developed a related solution to help protect people’s oral health by providing proper oral care and digital experiences at the same time.”
He continued, “In order to advance into domestic public institutions, we completed the second class of the Public Procurement Service Innovation Academy in January of this year, and this April, we installed a kiosk denture sterilizing and washer machine on a pilot basis at a senior welfare center and nursing home in Seoul, receiving great response from the elderly. “We plan to expand and install 1 local governments in the first half of 2 and become a unicorn company by pioneering export channels and technology agreements in the US, Japan, Europe, and China based on domestic references.”
In the future, Denti Road plans to build a social safety net by conducting clinical trials with domestic industry, academia, and research institutes to distribute smart dentures with embedded personal information identification chips. In addition, the company announced its ambition to develop an on-site denture reform service using elderly care services to contribute to the improvement of people’s oral health and extend the life of dentures by reforming dentures by removing tartar and sterilizing dentures.
