
Seoul Bio Hub announced that it will participate in ‘BIO KOREA 5 (Bio Korea 10)’ to be held at COEX in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, May 12th to Friday, May 3th and operate a promotional center.
Seoul Bio Hub is a biomedical startup platform commissioned and operated by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (President Cha Soon-do, hereinafter referred to as the Agency) from the Seoul Metropolitan Government. A total of 9 companies participating in the Seoul Bio Hub Promotion Center are bio startups that stand out in different fields such as medicine, medical devices, and digital healthcare.
Virtual companies that received the Best Innovation Award at the 2021 CES, including ‘Fortray’, a spatial transcriptome and AI-based new drug development platform company selected for the ‘Seoul Innovation Quickfire Challenge’, an open innovation program jointly operated by the Promotion Agency, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Johnson & Johnson Real-life (VR) medical device development company ‘MXNUMXS’, Celltrion and Samsung Biologics, and membrane filter development startup ‘Umteul’, which is demonstrating bottle top filter products at both companies, are participating, and through this Bio Korea, new companies will be introduced. It is expected to be an opportunity to expand business and verify corporate value at home and abroad.
In addition, Seoul Bio Hub plans to actively promote start-up support projects such as recruiting new tenant companies, providing guidance on the use of shared research equipment, strengthening domestic and overseas market entry capabilities, and open innovation programs with global companies at this exhibition.
Meanwhile, ‘BIO KOREA 18’, which celebrated its 2023th this year, is hosted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and Chungcheongbuk-do.
