OTI Korea (CEO Park Soo-jin) announced that it will participate in ‘BIO KOREA 5’ held at COEX, Seoul for three days from May 10 (Wed) to 12 (Fri).

OTI Korea is a company that has developed simple and rapid disinfection, sterilization, and decontamination solutions at room temperature and pressure by vaporizing chlorine dioxide. A ‘Photo-reaction’ method that uses stabilized chlorine dioxide ‘Anthium Dioxcide’ from Dupont, which has obtained certification from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as a raw material, and irradiates UV rays to a white taste-smelling gel formulation. provides space sterilization services and sterilization devices with proven safety and sterilization efficacy.

In this exhibition, OTI Korea will introduce its chlorine dioxide gas sterilizer. Based on the characteristics of inactivating microorganisms, sterilization with minimal damage to surgical instruments and laboratory instruments is realized, and a patented technology can generate or control sterilization gas, so no separate device for supplying water or discharging gas is required. . As a result, noise and power consumption are also optimized, so it is considered a product that can be used conveniently at the place where the user wants.

The biggest feature and advantage of their sterilization method is that it excludes the risk of carcinogens and environmental pollutants, unlike the sterilization method that used EO (Ethylene Oxide) gas, which was commonly used in the past. As such, the company explained that as a solution optimized for user safety and environmental protection, it is in the limelight as a substitute for existing products.

The chemical sterilizer introduced together also utilizes chlorine dioxide gas to inactivate microorganisms, and improves user convenience by omitting treatment processes such as neutralization, cleaning, and disassembly. In addition, it also exhibits the effect of removing odor at the same time as disinfection.

An official from OTI Korea said, “Our sterilization and disinfection solutions are building a new area in the related market, and are currently being supplied mainly to domestic medical institutions, but we plan to gradually expand the scope.” We received purchase inquiries from companies and are in the process of entering overseas markets.”

“Based on the manufacturing and development capabilities we have already secured, we plan to introduce new products for endoscope sterilization in the future, and in addition, we will expand our portfolio to products optimized for standards required by various industries.” We are also planning sterilization solutions for newly emerging Pass-Box, CPAP, etc.”

Meanwhile, ‘BIO KOREA 18’, which celebrated its 2023th this year, is hosted by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and Chungcheongbuk-do.
