Through Connect Care, medical staff can dramatically reduce the need to look for references, such as side effects that occur when taking medicine, and patients can easily check prescribed medicine information. It also provides parents with the correct response method for side effects.
Like existing medication management apps, it not only provides notifications through the user’s smartphone, but also secures feedback from professional pharmacists on dosage methods, side effects, and interactions as data, thereby increasing patients’ accessibility to professional data. Furthermore, reliability was further improved through data processing and inspection procedures by professional pharmacists, healthcare data experts, and academic experts. In this process, public API data, medical papers, and statistical data were used.
A Once Global official said, “In the current medical environment, it is inconvenient for medical staff to search for drug precautions and contraindications through public data or academic references. However, Connect Care is a solution that can immediately reduce these requirements. “We will introduce it at this exhibition to see how potential customers react to digital healthcare,” he said.
He continued, “Furthermore, we are building global drug data to advance into the U.S., Vietnam, and Japan, and through ingredient name mapping, we want to provide information on whether alternative drugs are used when drugs prescribed domestically are prescribed in other countries.” He added, “Also, personalized “We plan to gradually expand the service area to disease prevention and management by upgrading the completeness of the side effect prediction solution, and at the same time, we are considering linking the hospital system so that medical staff and patients can manage medication together.”
