Tech Tree Innovation Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Seung-yeop) announced that it will participate in the ‘4 World IT Show (WIS 19)’ to be held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 21 to Friday, April 2023.
Techtree Innovation is a domestic company with its own hyper-realism-based graphic production technology and know-how. We have implemented spatial information visualization using 3D scanning using the ‘PSM (Photogrammetry Software Mapping)’ method, and have established services with location information provision technology and platforms based on actual maps.
The company says that high-precision and high-resolution 3D maps created with such technology can be used in a variety of fields such as digital twins, smart cities, metaverse, UAM, autonomous driving, military training and education, disasters and disasters, and urban planning. Here’s the explanation.
At this exhibition, Techtree Innovation will showcase its PSM-based visual data technology. Unlike terrain information data that has gone through low-resolution LiDAR scanning, it has a high resolution that allows precise expression in 1 to 5 cm units, and is considered a technology that can express buildings, altitude, terrain, and roads without distortion.
In addition, customization and simulation are possible based on the implemented visual information data, and it can also be implemented cross-platform, supporting PCs, web browsers, as well as consoles in various areas. In particular, the official emphasized that companies that adopt this can carry out partial updates, such as on a single building basis, effectively saving costs incurred during maintenance and management of data.
A Tech Tree Innovation official said, “Existing 3D spatial information platforms and visualization data have chronic problems such as mismatches between floors and buildings, creasing and distortion in modeling, and problems with texture extraction, which results in poor data usability. “On the other hand, our technology has solved most of these problems and will be immediately applied to various industrial fields, contributing greatly to the digital transformation of their work.”
He continued, “In the future, we plan to develop solutions that accurately reflect more advanced lower end reinforcement, accurate representation of the upper structure, and objects such as road curbs and medians, traffic lights, and street lights, and supply them primarily to the construction industry.” “We plan to release the ‘AROUND MAP Air’ and ‘AROUND MAP Road’ versions that are equipped with the features provided in each solution.”
Meanwhile, the ‘World IT Show’, a one-stop platform for digital transformation, is a representative exhibition leading the next-generation high-tech industry. The 2023 World IT Show, with the slogan ‘Changing our life, K-Digital’, will feature △AI, IoT & ICT convergence services △Digital Twin & Metaverse △Smart Living and Healthcare △Robotics The latest technologies and products in the fields of △future mobility such as autonomous driving and UAM, and △blockchain & security will be displayed and introduced. In addition, the ‘WIS 2023 Innovation Award’ and the ‘2023 Korea ImpaCT-ech Grand Prize’ will be awarded to the technologies and products that attract the most attention among participating companies.
