Sound Platform Co., Ltd. (CEO Seo Jeong-hoon) announced that it will participate in the ‘4 World IT Show (WIS 19)’ to be held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 21th to Friday, April 2023st.
Sound Platform is a company that implements a hub where music creators around the world ultimately pass through and creates an open platform to communicate through music regardless of the creator’s nationality, language, or race. To this end, we are currently developing the ‘Munit’ service, which provides artificial intelligence ‘AI Mastering Solution’ at a reasonable price and provides contact with distribution and distribution markets, and is scheduled for formal promotion in the second half of 2023.
With the development of technology and devices, anyone can now easily create and produce music. However, mixing and mastering, which are part of post-production work, are still not available to everyone. It is known that the average time it takes for a mastering engineer to gain some level of recognition is about 8 years, and this field is so important and prestigious that the name of the mastering studio is always included on the record label or in the credits.
As music distribution has shifted from optical media to digital streaming, ‘mastering’, the final step in sound source processing, has become more important. However, the mastering engineer training system that requires a considerable period of time ultimately created an imbalance between supply and demand, and complaints from consumers who have no suitable alternative are steadily increasing.
Sound Platform recognizes this real-life problem and is preparing to launch the ‘Munit’ service, an artificial intelligence mastering algorithm learned based on actual sound source data.
In this exhibition, Sound Platform will also present ‘Good Night’, a professional sleep music service that connects brain waves and music, in addition to the ‘Muneet’ service. ‘Good Sleep’ is a service that helps users get a good night’s sleep according to their sleep cycle. It provides a variety of music that adds pink noise that induces brain waves and a sense of stability to sleep music created by sleep music researchers.
Meanwhile, the ‘World IT Show’, a one-stop platform for digital transformation, is a representative exhibition leading the next-generation high-tech industry.
