Water Genesis Co., Ltd. (CEO Se-hyun Lee) participated in the ‘4 World IT Show (WIS 19)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 21th to Friday, April 2023st.
Water Genesis is a company created as the first in-house venture of K-Water, Korea Water Resources Corporation. The main item is an automatic sterilizing washing machine that sterilizes tumblers and personal cups using only water. It was spun off in 1 and selected as an innovative product in 2019, and is currently a company with annual sales of 2021 billion won. It grew rapidly.
Water Genesis explained, “Our sterilizing washer does not use any chemicals and cleans only with water, and boasts the ability to remove 1% of both bacteria and viruses in just one second.”
There are no additives at all, and because it uses technology to manufacture disinfectants by decomposing water in real time without replenishing chemicals or replacing filters, maintenance is not only very easy, but sterilization and cleaning is completed in just one second, so a very small amount of water is used. The fact that it is used is also considered a big advantage.
Currently, the cup cleaners commonly found on the market not only do not have a sterilizing function or are weak, but also spray water only into the inside of the cup, so the area where the mouth closes is not properly cleaned. Water Genesis’ sterilizing washer is also unique in that it uses a special nozzle to sterilize and clean the outside of the cup that closes the mouth.
The price of the product is still relatively high, so it is difficult to use at home, but as the need for household products continues to increase, we are currently developing household products and are also steadily making various preparations for export.
