iMedicine Co., Ltd. (CEO Seungwan Kang) participated in the ‘4 World IT Show (WIS 19)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 21th to Friday, April 2023st.

iMedicine is a company specializing in an artificial intelligence-based ‘digital mental healthcare platform’ established in 2012. The mental healthcare method provided by iMediSync scans brain waves by wearing a helmet-shaped device (iSyncWave), and based on this, uses AI automatic brain wave analysis solution (iSyncBrain) and heart rate variability analysis solution (iSyncHeart) to prevent brain nerve diseases. This is to enable early monitoring.

The EEG scanning device ‘iSyncWave’ developed by iMediSync is a 100% dry wireless EEG meter that does not use gel and can be applied closely to the scalp regardless of gender and age, and provides analysis results through rapid measurement within 10 minutes. It has advantages.

In addition, the safety and performance of the product have been recognized by obtaining medical device certification from the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and the U.S. FDA, and is currently being used in about 100 hospitals and clinics in Korea.

Seungwan Kang, CEO of iMedisine, is a former professor at Seoul National University and has accumulated a vast amount of brainwave data through research and development collaborations with Seoul National University and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

iMedicine refined and analyzed this vast amount of data and organized it into meaningful data, and based on this, was able to build an artificial intelligence-based digital mental healthcare platform.

The reason why ‘iSyncBrain’, a cloud-based EEG analysis solution with big data and artificial intelligence technology, and ‘iSyncHeart’, a stress and emotion analysis solution, can be developed and utilized using the EEG information obtained through ‘iSyncWave’ is thanks to the EEG data accumulated over time. am.

An official from iMediSyn that we met at the exhibition said, “We hope to expand our infrastructure and distribute iMediSyn’s solutions to homes rather than hospitals and clinics, so that more people can receive early prevention of brain nerve diseases.”

Meanwhile, the ‘World IT Show’, a one-stop platform for digital transformation, is a representative exhibition leading the next-generation high-tech industry. The 2023 World IT Show, with the slogan ‘Changing our life, K-Digital’, will feature ▲AI platform, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud, and ICT convergence services ▲Smart home, office, and home appliances. and smart healthcare ▲Intelligent mobility and robots such as autonomous driving, UAM, drones, etc. ▲Digital Twin & Metaverse (XR technology) ▲Cloud and software ▲Security software & Blockchain (NFT) ▲The latest technologies and products in the field of quantum information science Exhibited and introduced. In addition, the ‘WIS 2023 Innovation Award’ and the ‘2023 Korea ImpaCT-ech Grand Prize’ were awarded to the technologies and products that attracted the most attention among participating companies.
