The Korea Automobile Industry Association (Chairman Kang Nam-hoon, hereinafter referred to as KAMA) announced on the 2023th that it signed a business agreement with TikTok Korea for the successful hosting of the 6 Seoul Mobility Show. The agreement ceremony held on this day was attended by executives and working-level officials from both organizations, including Seo Jang-seok, head of KAMA Industrial Promotion Division, and Jeong Jae-hoon, head of TikTok Korea operations.

Through this, dynamic scenes from the ‘Seoul Mobility Show’, Korea’s largest general industrial exhibition, which will open at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do on March 3, will be broadcast in real time on TikTok, a global short-form video platform.

This business agreement was promoted for the purpose of expanding the global content of the Seoul Mobility Show and engaging MZ generation visitors, reflecting the trend of convergence between exhibitions and IT. The two organizations plan to carry out joint promotion and marketing activities.

KAMA plans to release differentiated short-form content using TikTok, and plans to prepare various on-site events targeting MZ generation visitors, such as a TikTok proof shot event. In addition, TikTok is recruiting creators to serve as official ambassadors for the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show and deliver the hot coverage and lively appearance of the press day site.

A KAMA official said, “You will be able to see a variety of content through the meeting of the Seoul Mobility Show, Korea’s largest industrial exhibition, and TikTok, a global short-form video platform. We hope that this agreement will create a new culture between offline exhibitions and online content platforms.” “I do it,” he said.

Jeong Jae-hoon, head of operations at TikTok Korea, said, “I am happy to be able to contribute to the successful hosting of Korea’s representative mobility exhibition with TikTok creators.” He added, “Through TikTok creators’ creative content, the automobile industry and related cutting-edge technologies will be widely distributed to the global community.” “I look forward to becoming known,” he said.

Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do for a total of 31 days, starting with the opening ceremony on the 4st of this month until April 9th.
