
Hyundai Motor Company will participate in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’, which will be held for a total of 31 days at KINTEX from March 4 to April 9, and unveil the actual vehicle ‘Sonata The Edge’, a partially modified model of the 10th generation Sonata, for the first time.
At the Seoul Mobility Show, Hyundai Motor Company plans to operate a 2,600㎡ exhibition booth under the theme of ‘A space to experience future mobility that is closer to our lives along with the mobility that can be experienced in today’s life.’
Hyundai Motor Company is exhibiting 6 vehicles, including △The All New Kona Electric △Ioniq 22 △The New Avante △The New Fabis △RN74e (concept car) △NVision 13 (concept car), and the 8th generation Sonata partially modified model Sonata D. The actual Edge is revealed for the first time.

The Sonata The Edge is a model introduced four years after March 2019, and is characterized by emphasizing the feel of a sport sedan in accordance with Hyundai Motor Company’s design identity ‘Sensuous Sportiness’. In response to this, Hyundai Motors emphasized that the body of the car will be wider and sleeker than before, so you will be able to feel the change in full-change payments.
The front part of the Sonata The Edge emphasized the integration of the headlamp (headlight), radiator grill, and air intake into one. In addition, in order to express a future-oriented image, the DRL (Daytime Running Light) is made of ‘Seamless Horizon Lamp’.
On the side, the front end that starts low and the long hood extend to the roof line, showing a dynamic image, and the rear part, which is reminiscent of a high-performance sports car, has an H-shaped tail lamp (taillight), ‘H light’ applied.

In addition, the interior is equipped for the first time with a panoramic curved display, which consists of a digital cluster and an infotainment system connected in a curved shape. At the same time, the wood pattern decoration applied to the dashboard emphasizes the horizontal lines of the interior space, providing a sense of expanded space than before. The gear knob was also replaced by an electronic shift column and a steering wheel.
A Hyundai Motor Company official said, “The completely new Sonata The Edge will make a clear presence in the market,” and “We plan to display it for the first time at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show held at KINTEX in Ilsan.”
Meanwhile, the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show will be held on the theme of ‘Sustainable Connected Mobility (Sustainable and Intelligent Mobility Revolution)’ at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, starting with Press Day on March 3 (Thursday) and ending on April 30 ( days) to be held. The total exhibition size is 4㎡, more than twice as large as the previous event (9㎡), and more than 53,541 companies and institutions from 26,310 countries around the world will participate to showcase various mobility contents.
