Hyundai Motor Group’s premium car brand Genesis will participate in the ‘3 Seoul Mobility Show’, which will be held at KINTEX for a total of 31 days from March 4 to April 9.
Genesis has constructed an exhibition hall measuring 363 pyeong in line with the themes of this Seoul Mobility Show: △Eco-friendly evolution through sustainable energy, △Intelligent mobility, parts and technology capable of infinite connectivity, and △A new vision for mobility that goes beyond existing means of transportation. Three types of electric concept cars will be exhibited, including ‘X’, ‘X Speedium Coupe’, and ‘X Convertible’.
Genesis’ X is a two-door electric vehicle coupe concept car that was first unveiled in 2021. It boasts an exterior that represents the essence of ‘Athletic Elegance’, Genesis’ unique design direction. Genesis explains that the combination of the shield-shaped crest grille and the two rows of headlights penetrating the wheel arches on the front creates a low and wide image, and the double-structured bumper completes the strong impression.
In addition, the long bonnet and short rear represent a traditional GT vehicle design, and the two rows of lamps leading to the vehicle’s headlights and taillights are a characteristic feature of the side design. In addition, the arched parabolic line across the car body and the maximized volume of the fender added a dynamic and luxurious atmosphere.
The X-Spedium Coupe and X-Convertible are Genesis’ electrified concept cars that were released in April and November of last year, respectively. These also inherited Genesis’ representative design features of two rows of headlights and wing face, and reinterpreted the design of the crest grille into two rows to suit the era of electrification. The parabolic line on the side was also applied in the same way, and a V-shaped brake light was added to the top of the horseshoe-shaped trunk at the rear.
In addition, Genesis plans to introduce mass-produced cars such as △G90 △G80 △GV70 △GV60, and also hold events such as Bang & Olufsen Beosonic Sound Tech and the ‘Genesis Tea-Selection’ program, a tea ceremony cultural experience using seasonal ingredients with the theme of light chips. am.
