[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] Gwangju-based artificial intelligence (AI) company GhostPass (CEO Seon-kwan Lee) held a total of 4 days in Las Vegas, USA from January 5th (Thursday) to 8th (Sunday, local time). We participated in ‘CES 2023’ and introduced a fully decentralized biometric identification solution.
GhostPass is an AI company that develops payment and identity authentication/identification solutions through biometric authentication using AI technologies such as facial and voice recognition based on individual biometric information. At this CES, GhostPass unveiled a solution to prevent problems such as personal information leakage, which is a hot topic around the world.
The biometric information-based school attendance system implemented with its own technology also attracted attention. This is a solution that GhostPass is currently conducting a demonstration project in the Gwangju area. In cooperation with Daechonjungang Elementary School in Nam-gu, Gwangju, GhostPass is conducting the nation’s first demonstration of a ‘biometric information-based school attendance system’ that applies biometric information distributed storage and AI facial recognition technology to students who submitted personal information consent forms.

The school attendance system based on biometric information is characterized by the ability to check student information at a glance through the teacher’s tablet and the student’s personal smartphone through AI facial recognition and biometric information distributed storage technology. As viruses such as COVID-19 spread, a simple identity verification system is attracting attention, and Ghost Pass’s products, which do not have the risk of personal information leakage, were displayed and attracted the attention of visitors throughout the event.
