Cube Instrument Co., Ltd. (CEO Won-oh Lee) announced that it will participate in the 3th International Medical Equipment and Hospital Equipment Exhibition ‘KIMES 23’, which will be held at COEX, Seoul from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, March 38.

Cube Instruments, established in 2016, manufactures compact plasma sterilizers using its own patented technology. Currently, more than 2,500 medical institutions in Korea are using EXPlasma brand products, and officials explain that they are working to provide faster and safer infection control services to medical institutions.

In addition to plasma sterilizers, the company has secured a product lineup that meets customer needs with implant surface treatment machines using plasma, and has also announced plans to expand its market to various fields, including the medical field and the private sector, through smart space infection control solutions.

Cube Instruments’ products exhibited at this exhibition largely consist of three types. The main compact plasma sterilizers to be introduced include EXPlasma Z3 and EXPlasma Q7 products. EXPlasma Z2 is a 7-liter product that has received CE certification and can be exported overseas, while EXPlasma Q7 is a 2-liter product that has been popular not only in small and medium-sized medical institutions, but also in animal hospitals and nail shops.

In addition, an implant surface treatment device using plasma will be exhibited. In the case of an implant fixture implanted in the alveolar bone, the hydrophilicity can be increased through surface treatment, and the company emphasized that as hydrophilicity increases, the osseointegration rate increases and the success rate of the procedure increases. Another advantage was that it took only about 1 minute to process, so it could be processed and used right before the procedure.

A new, planned smart space infection control solution will also be introduced at this KIMES. An official from Cube Instruments said, “Similar products have already been introduced, but they have not been activated due to issues such as cost, so we plan to introduce a space infection control robot that is more reasonable and can provide a variety of services other than space infection control. “We plan to pursue business with our own differentiation,” he explained.

Cube Instrument’s smart spatial infection control robot is designed to increase the efficiency of infection control based on distance and location information as well as autonomous driving functions. Although it is targeted at medical institutions, it is also notable for being applicable to a variety of fields. With its modular configuration, it can be used as a serving robot in addition to infection control, so it can also be expected to have a manpower replacement effect.

In relation to this, the achievements and aspirations so far were also revealed. An official said, “In Korea, about 7 to 800 EXPlasma brand products are sold every year. “If we add the recently released surface treatment and space infection control robots that are planned for the future, we will be able to provide even more services,” he said.

In addition, “After obtaining CE certification in 2021, contracts with European distributors and overseas corporations in Southeast Asia have been completed, and we are currently exporting to Europe and Southeast Asia. “We are preparing to enter Japan, China, and the Americas in 2023,” he said. “There are many medical devices that are commonly used in Korea that are not yet active in the global market. This is the case with products such as our flagship product, the compact plasma sterilizer. Also, I believe that implant surface treatment machines are a blue ocean in the global market. “We are looking forward to improving our image and achieving good results through this KIMES.”

On the other hand, KIMES is an exhibition specializing in medical devices and hospital facilities that has grown steadily with the development of the Korean medical industry since its first meeting in 1980. It has transformed into a technology-intensive high-tech industry such as rehabilitation medicine.

KIMES 2023 will feature new technologies and new products suitable for the era of convergence, such as smart healthcare in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, robotic medicine and eco-friendly medical waste facilities, cutting-edge hospital facilities, medical information systems combined with IT technology, and the automobile industry for rapid patient transportation. presents. In addition, it provides a variety of information, including seminars on medical technology, new technology, and overseas marketing, as well as domestic medical industry policy seminars that will show the latest information and direction of the medical industry.
