AIMedic is a company that develops stand-alone software medical devices that support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases by combining artificial intelligence and computer simulation technology. A medical image processing software business that analyzes cardiac CT images completely automatically without expert intervention for highly difficult coronary artery segmentation, and a non-invasive product that analyzes fractional flow reserve (FFR) by combining coronary artery segmentation and hemodynamic technology. We are engaged in the CT-FFR technology business.
Since its establishment in 2014, it has been selected for the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning’s New Industry Creation Project and TIPS Program, and has been developing core technologies and acquiring intellectual property rights at the company’s affiliated research institute, which is mainly composed of master’s and doctoral students. Recognized for its technology and business feasibility, it has attracted 120 billion won in investment to date. In the future, the company also announced its intention to operate a cardiovascular computer simulation platform business by expanding its scope to include the cerebrovascular system by applying its existing technology, rather than limiting it to the cardiovascular sector.
HeartMedi+ (hereinafter referred to as HeartMedi+) and AutoSeg (hereinafter referred to as AutoSeg) will be exhibited at this exhibition. HeartMedi+ provides CT-FFR non-invasively for patients with stenosis rates of 40% to 90%. Additionally, AutoSeg provides a comprehensive range of factors important for diagnosing heart disease, such as segmenting coronary arteries, atria and ventricles, and aortic valves, as well as calcium scoring and plaque analysis.
An AIMedic official said, “The HeartMedi+ product, which combines the AutoSeg product, an automatic segmentation technology, with HeartMed, a non-invasive CT-FFR technology, is currently undergoing clinical trials and plans to acquire new medical technology and launch it by 2023. “In the long term, we plan to launch personalized cardiovascular platform products for various medical images,” he said.

On the other hand, KIMES is an exhibition specializing in medical devices and hospital facilities that has grown steadily with the development of the Korean medical industry since its first meeting in 1980. It has transformed into a technology-intensive high-tech industry such as rehabilitation medicine.
KIMES 2023 will feature new technologies and new products suitable for the era of convergence, such as smart healthcare in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, robotic medicine and eco-friendly medical waste facilities, cutting-edge hospital facilities, medical information systems combined with IT technology, and the automobile industry for rapid patient transportation. presents. In addition, it provides a variety of information, including seminars on medical technology, new technology, and overseas marketing, as well as domestic medical industry policy seminars that will show the latest information and direction of the medical industry.
