Huka System Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Hyeong-sik) announced that it will participate in the 3th International Medical Equipment and Hospital Equipment Exhibition ‘KIMES 23’, which will be held at COEX, Seoul from March 26rd (Thursday) to 38th (Sunday).
Huka System is a venture company that has developed and provided a walking rehabilitation system based on robotics technology. To date, we have launched walking rehabilitation systems ‘GTR-A’, ‘GTR-P’, and ‘GTR-PL’, and have obtained US FDA approval for all of these products, securing their excellence and competitiveness.
In particular, GTR-A has proven to be significantly effective in gait rehabilitation through clinical trials at Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital, and has been selected as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service and delivered to Pusan National University Hospital and Chungnam National University Hospital.
At this exhibition, Huca System plans to showcase a large number of its rehabilitation medical devices, and selected ‘HUCA-Go’ and ‘GTR-N’ as its representative products.
HUCA-Go is a class 3 walking rehabilitation robot that helps rehabilitate patients in the acute phase from the early stage after medical treatment for brain disease. Its functions include upper and lower limb complex rehabilitation, automatic gait, and walking assistance, and cutting-edge technology is applied to automatically adjust walking factors by detecting the patient’s balance ability during gait rehabilitation treatment.
GTR-N is a first-class medical device that can be used in the community and at home, and is characterized by providing sufficient aerobic exercise and functional walking training to chronic patients. At the same time, the official explains that based on excellent price competitiveness, it has high potential not only in individual sales but also in the medical device rental market.

An official from Huka System said, “Based on these two products, we have established a lineup of rehabilitation medical devices that can be used for full-cycle rehabilitation from the acute phase to the chronic phase,” and added, “We will raise awareness by introducing this at KIMES 2023, the largest medical exhibition in Korea. “First of all, we want to expand our sales channels starting from Korea,” he said, explaining the reason for participating in this exhibition.
He continued, “Overseas, we have signed a distributor agreement with a Vietnamese medical device distributor, and delivery of prototypes is scheduled for this year.” He added, “Furthermore, as we are also discussing distributor agreements with distributors in other countries such as the United States and Hong Kong, we will use our proprietary technology.” “Based on this, we are optimistic about the possibility of entering the global market.”
There are also new products scheduled for release in the future. An official explained, “Beyond the medical device field, we are also preparing equipment and healthcare monitoring services that help functional walking exercises,” and “We are accelerating development and preparation for the official launch in 2024.”
On the other hand, KIMES is an exhibition specializing in medical devices and hospital facilities that has grown steadily with the development of the Korean medical industry since its first meeting in 1980. It has transformed into a technology-intensive high-tech industry such as rehabilitation medicine.
KIMES 2023 will feature new technologies and new products suitable for the era of convergence, such as smart healthcare in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, robotic medicine and eco-friendly medical waste facilities, cutting-edge hospital facilities, medical information systems combined with IT technology, and the automobile industry for rapid patient transportation. presents. In addition, it provides a variety of information, including seminars on medical technology, new technology, and overseas marketing, as well as domestic medical industry policy seminars that will show the latest information and direction of the medical industry.
