AI startup Nubi Lab (CEO Kim Dae-hoon) was attended by Chairman Yoon Kwan-seok of the National Assembly Trade, Industry and Energy Small and Medium Venture Business Committee (hereinafter referred to as the National Assembly Committee on Trade, Industry and Energy) at its exhibition booth located in the Digital Healthcare Zone at CES 1 held in Las Vegas, USA on January 6, local time. It was announced that a delegation from the National Assembly’s Mountain and Central Committee, consisting of Representative Song Ki-heon and Rep. Song Ki-heon, visited. This is the third visit following Minister of SMEs and Startups Lee Young and Gwangju Mayor Kang Ki-jeong on the 2023th.
Nubi Lab, which participated in CES 40 with a booth measuring approximately 135 pyeong (2023 mXNUMX), which is at the level of a global large company, is a startup developing an artificial intelligence (AI) food scanning solution. Nubi Lab unveiled ‘Vision N’, an AI healthcare concept based on eating habits data, for the first time at this CES. It has recently received a lot of attention in Korea, including receiving an excellence award at the public-private joint digital startup competition hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.
The National Assembly Industrial and Central Committee delegation announced that they had included the Nubi Lab booth in their schedule amid high expectations for Nubi Lab’s innovation, growth potential, and sustainability.
Kim Dae-hoon, CEO of Nubi Lab, said, “Investment at large corporations, public institutions, and government levels is shrinking due to the recent economic crisis such as interest rate hikes, but ESG-related investments such as food waste reduction and healthcare investments are essential in the long term. “We ask for the high level of interest from the National Assembly and Government in securing sales channels and supporting continued investment in related fields at the National Assembly and government levels,” he said, conveying the difficulties faced by domestic startups.
Next, Representative Kim Dae-hoon said, “It is a great help to me that the delegation of the National Assembly’s Industry and Commerce Commission visited in person.” He added, “We ask for your continued interest and support from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy.”

“NubiLab’s food scanner technology, advanced with AI and big data, is expected to be competitive not only in reducing food waste but also in health management,” said Yoon Kwan-seok, Chairman of the Mountain and Central Committee. “I hope this happens,” he emphasized.
In the booth tour that followed, we introduced Nuvi Lab AI, which determines the amount, type, and nutritional content of food with a single scan, demonstrated food waste reduction through an AI food scanner, and enjoyed the healthcare concept ‘Vision N’.
Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest technology fair, is an exhibition where you can see the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance.
