In particular, it introduces ON Semi’s end-to-end silicon carbide (SiC) supply chain, ranging from volume boule growth to best-in-class integrated modules, individual package solutions and applications. This also includes traction inverters, on-board charging and electric vehicle charging, and with ONSemi’s vertical integration, OEMs can count on expertise in SiC technology and supply assurance.
In the automotive sector, intelligent sensing solutions with ultra-fast dynamic range and high-performance image sensors for flicker LED mitigation, viewing and sensing applications, and advanced motorcycle safety are also attracting attention.
In addition, ON Semi’s multi-protocol SoC ‘RSL 10’ is a microcontroller with industry-leading power efficiency and Bluetooth Low Energy support, and is installed in tire monitoring systems from leading high-tech performance tire manufacturers. The company explains that these technologies can make vehicles safer on the road.
At the same time, ON Semi will also showcase a variety of innovative industrial solutions, including fully autonomous robots. In addition to robots, next-generation imaging technologies including indirect time of flight (iToF), wake-on-motion, and smart region of interest (ROI) will also be introduced.
