Jungwon University Aeronautics College, 2023 Drone Show Korea held aviation education related equipment experience… “I will contribute to the aerospace industry in desperate need of excellent talent”

Jungwon University’s College of Aeronautics (Dean Sang-yong Park) announced that it will participate in the ‘Drone Show Korea 2’ held at BEXCO, Busan from February 23rd (Thursday) to 25th (Saturday).
Jungwon University’s College of Aeronautics will participate in the ‘Drone Education Center’ booth planned for the first time at this Drone Show Korea. Accordingly, in a gathering of numerous related companies and talents, companies are hoping to discover talented people, and universities are hoping to provide opportunities for talented people to improve their understanding of related industries and lead to employment.
Jungwon University, a university specializing in the aerospace industry, is actively working to establish a win-win cooperation system through business agreements with aviation-related companies and institutions, including drones, to foster aviation-related professionals. In particular, through an agreement with Vessel Aerospace Co., Ltd., we are actively pursuing joint operation of professional manpower training programs linked to the aerospace industry, curriculum development, human exchange, and joint use of facilities and equipment. In addition, we continuously operate ‘drone production and operation course training’ every year to foster local talent for the development of the drone industry and create a foundation for drone operation for regional customized aerial photography and agricultural pest control.
At this event booth, Jungwon University’s College of Aeronautics provides user-centered customized consultation and education, including information on the specialization of the College of Aviation, curriculum for aviation-related departments (Department of Flight Operations, Department of Aviation Service, Department of Aviation Maintenance, Department of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), and guidance on scholarship systems. We are holding an event where students can display and experience various equipment they are using.
Dean Park Sang-yong of the College of Aeronautics said, “Recently, the importance of drones has increased as their uses in military, hobby, agriculture, surveying, disaster response, and transportation have become more diverse,” adding, “Not only drones are attracting attention in the 4th industry, but excellent talent and technology are desperately needed.” “We will make active efforts to contribute to the aerospace industry,” he said.
