Taekyung Electronics Co., Ltd. participated in the ‘Drone Show Korea 2’ held at BEXCO, Busan from February 23rd (Thursday) to 25th (Saturday).

Since its founding in 2014, Taekyung Electronics began supplying printed circuit boards (PCBs) based on the highest quality SMT (Surface Mounter Technology) technology through special process certification, and has developed various defense components and bone conduction headsets. We have been strengthening our mass production capabilities and R&D capabilities.

As an alternative to the inefficient and environmentally polluting flares used during the Sewol Ferry rescue search in 2014, we designed a mission operation concept that combines lighting with a drone with good mobility and usability. Starting with this, Taekyung Electronics’ representative drone mission equipment integrated module ‘Drone Light’ was born through continuous research and development.

The transport drone introduced at this exhibition is capable of transporting military supplies to rugged mountainous terrain or remote areas, and is capable of recognizing situational information through transmitting and receiving 3-axis camera images. In addition, the drop device allows quick transport of goods, and has a built-in safety system in case of emergency.

In the form of a multicopter, it weighs less than 60kg and has a payload of more than 20kg, with a flight time of 30 minutes and a maximum speed of 25km/h.
