Jungwon University, a newly established university in 2009, announced that it is using a ‘two-track’ policy that provides opportunities to study abroad, not just aviation-related military support, in order to differentiate itself from existing aviation colleges. An official said, “We are creating a route to go abroad to provide more opportunities to students,” expressing their aspirations to provide more options to students in the future.
A student at Jungwon University said, “There is a system on campus that is directly specialized for employment,” and “I see many advantages of the two-track system in terms of life and career as a student.” She added, “There is a lot of support centered around aviation colleges to learn both flying and English.”
