Drongo Co., Ltd. (CEO Ha Sang-gyun) participated in the ‘Drone Show Korea 2’ held at BEXCO, Busan from February 23rd (Thursday) to 25th (Saturday).
Established in April 2018, Drongo is a Gyeongnam defense venture and preliminary tourism venture with specialized source technology in the unmanned aerial vehicle field. The ‘Water jet drone’ introduced at this exhibition is a disaster safety equipment and a large-capacity reverse spray drone system equipped with a hose reel. It has a technology that ejects hydraulic power downward, and is a product to help solve decontamination work and environmental problems.
A Drongo official explained, “As the area where forest fires occur is becoming larger and spreading, we want to prevent large-scale forest fires by quickly establishing an initial suppression response system in the event of a forest fire.” To this end, he added that a fire suppression drone is being developed and that it will be equipped with fire extinguishing charcoal so that fires can be extinguished quickly even in difficult-to-access places.
The official continued, “Our company participated in this exhibition to announce new technology and utilize it in connection with other industries. “Furthermore, we are aiming to open a nationwide dealership,” he said. “Broadly speaking, we aim to become a global leader in the unmanned aerial vehicle industry in the era of the 21th industrial revolution of the 4st century, with efforts to continuously innovate in technology and pursue technology beyond its limits. “We will create technological value,” he said.
