Clover Studio (CEO Choi Tae-in) participated in the ‘Drone Show Korea 2’ held at BEXCO, Busan from February 23rd (Thursday) to 25th (Saturday).
Clover Studio is a software company that has developed ‘DROW’, a ground control platform for autonomous driving of drones and urban air mobility (UAM) in invisible areas. Their DROW GCP solution can control dozens of different drone models from various manufacturers simultaneously. In particular, it is effective in building the optimal flight path by collecting big data by accumulating a lot of experience in autonomous mobility operation.
At this exhibition, Clover Studio introduced the 4D integrated control platform ‘DROW4D’. This is a service that enables airspace traffic design based on a digital twin model that combines ICT technology. It provides not only related traffic control services such as simulation, spatial information, and real-time network, but also manned and unmanned vehicles including UAM, a representative future transportation method of smart cities. It can also be used as a control and monitoring system.

Like the DROW solution, this also has the advantage of being able to control multiple drone types simultaneously with one platform, and drone service providers are expected to be able to simultaneously improve service operation efficiency and ease of use by adopting it. In addition, indoor and outdoor drones can be controlled with one platform, and it boasts excellent convenience in maintenance and management of the control system.
Clover Studio used the open source developed drone of ‘Bitcraze’, which applied the company’s DROW solution, to intuitively inform exhibition visitors of the excellence of control and autonomous flight technology.
An official from Clover Studio said, “Our solution was selected for the innovation award at the last Dubai information and communication exhibition GITEX, and we also achieved the feat of being selected for the innovation award for three consecutive years from 2021 to 2023 at CES, the world’s largest IT exhibition. “We expect that we will be able to achieve meaningful results in the global market in the future by being recognized for our technological excellence and service potential at domestic and international exhibitions and expos.”
He continued, “We plan to introduce and support various types of global 3D maps, including Korea’s ‘V-World’, into our services, and provide solutions optimized for various business models, including UAM, cargo and delivery, and defense drones.” He announced plans for future business expansion.
