RECON Labs (CEO Bae Sung-hoon) will be held at Eureka Park, the startup zone of ‘CES 2023’, held in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 1 days from January 5 (Thursday) to January 8 (Sunday, local time), 4. They announced that they will set up a booth and showcase more advanced AI-based 2023D creation technology and applications (apps).
Recon Labs is a company that has developed a service that allows anyone to easily create and utilize 3D and AR (augmented reality) content. Through its representative service, ‘PlicAR,’ it assists e-commerce sellers in selling their products as 3D and AR content and creating digital showrooms and catalogs.
In addition, Recon Labs, which recently signed an MOU with KT Commerce, is currently discussing ways to expand the application of 3D and AR within the commerce platform, and is said to be working to advance 3D content automation technology through a technology partnership with NVIDIA.
At this exhibition, Recon Labs will demonstrate and introduce its ‘MetaRECON’. This is a proprietary 3D modeling algorithm based on ‘Neural Rendering’ that quickly and easily creates 3D models with quality close to real-life, and has proven its technological excellence with four related patents. In particular, it has strong surface inference performance and is evaluated as being able to reconstruct various objects and spaces in 4D and create 3D models of a higher quality.
In addition, Recon Labs plans to present a ‘View Synthesis’ demo at the exhibition site that can accurately reconstruct 3D rendering using ‘Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF)’ technology. Cloud-based view synthesis SaaS is characterized by providing scalability, stability, and flexibility in various environments.
Seong-hoon Seong, CEO of Recon Labs, said, “At this CES exhibition, we would like to meet with excellent companies and institutions in various industries at home and abroad to showcase Recon Labs’ differentiated technology and have opportunities for collaboration.” He added, “North America and Europe, where 3D content is actively used, “We are planning to expand into overseas markets.”
Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition, is an exhibition where you can understand the trends of the global home appliance industry at a glance. Hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), it is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 1 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 17, and has been selected as the ‘BEST OF CES’, which selects the best innovative products and technologies, and the ‘BEST OF’, which selects domestic innovative companies. ‘MADE IN KOREA’ was held. In addition, CES on-site issues were vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.
