[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] Sunny Wave Tech Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Hak-seon) held a total of 2023 days in Las Vegas, USA from January 1 (Thursday) to January 5 (Sunday, local time), 8. Participated in the Eureka Park K-STARTUP Integrated Hall, the startup zone of ‘CES 4’.
Sunny Wave Tech is developing B2B and B2C targeted IT products based on original technology development (patent securing, etc.) for dogs and cats.
At CES 2023, we will introduce ‘DOGSPLAY’, an IoT pet care device exclusively for dogs and cats. This is a product and app service equipped with CCTV, two-way communication, and a dedicated content auto-play player for dog owners and cat owners who have to leave their pets alone at home for long periods of time.
DOGSPLAY, a dedicated display exclusively for dogs and cats, has a built-in image processing algorithm that is corrected for color blindness, malignant myopia, and moving body vision in dogs. Through the product, dogs can enjoy content that suits their tastes and enjoy instant video calls with their owners. When a dog approaches the product, the product can be automatically turned on and real-time notifications are sent, so the dog owner can make a welcome call or perform one-way monitoring using the CCTV function. This unique technology has been patented.

An official from Sunny Wave Tech said, “We developed it with the intention of improving psychological instability such as separation anxiety in dogs and cats left alone at home, and to relieve the sorry feelings of dog owners and cat owners who are away from home for long periods of time. “We wanted to give dogs something to help them enjoy the time they spend waiting for their owners more happily and stably,” he said. “We will continue to improve this new and groundbreaking product to help both pets and people live happier and more stable lives.” “The goal is to achieve this,” he explained the development background.
He continued, “We conducted verification through a test group for two months on the POC product of this device. “In fact, the proportion of dogs that watched existing TV (sometimes or often) was 2%, but 29% of dogs watched content through DOGSPLAY, showing meaningful results,” he added.
Currently, development of DOGSPLAY has been completed through POC, and Sunny Wave Tech has verified performance and marketability through user testing and is reflecting practical improvements such as design and UI in line with consumer needs. Starting with market launch through crowdfunding in the first half of 2023, we are preparing to expand to the online or offline market in the second half of the year (around August). In addition, Sunny Wave Tech is developing an algorithm that automatically recommends and plays content that pets like, and this will be provided by DOGSPLAY as a platform named ‘DOGFLIX’.
An official said, “We are actively attracting investment for DOGSPLAY to enter the market in earnest and are applying to the national venture support program. “Through this CES, we hope to find local partners and investors from each country for global sales, and we hope to create collaboration opportunities with Pet-Tech companies that can create synergies and explore new markets through this.” .
