
Nubi Lab (CEO Kim Dae-hoon), a startup developing an artificial intelligence (AI) food scanning solution, announced on the 2023th that it will unveil a healthcare concept based on eating habits data at CES 20. Nubi Lab AI is expected to develop a new future suited to various user environments in the digital healthcare field by developing food data learned over four years in the form of mobile apps and APIs.
Nubi Lab will participate in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023, which will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the United States for a total of 1 days from January 5 (Thursday) to January 8 (Sunday, local time), 4. Nubi Lab, which has participated in CES since 2023, will set up an exclusive booth for the first time this year and present core solutions under the themes of digital healthcare, food tech, and sustainability.
Nubi Lab sees this CES stage, which is expected to attract more than 158 visitors from 17 countries around the world, as an opportunity to accelerate its entry into the global market. At the booth, digital healthcare concepts such as △infant growth management solution △eating habits management solution for chronic disease patients △mobile food diary △food scan API will be displayed for the first time, focusing on Nubilab’s core solution, ‘AI Food Scanner’.

Nubi Lab has received attention at home and abroad by developing a solution that innovates the group feeding environment with technology that can determine the type and amount of food with just one scanning. It has been reported that more than 70 companies and organizations have adopted the solution so far, reducing a cumulative total of more than 1 million kg of food waste. In October of this year, it attracted Series A investment worth 5 billion won from Smilegate Investment and others.

The Nubi Lab booth at this CES will also display the success story of the Zero Waste campaign conducted by SK Telecom and Nubi Lab to achieve Net Zero. SKT is known to have achieved a carbon reduction effect by implementing a six-month campaign to reduce food waste by introducing the Nubilab solution to the employee cafeteria to practice ESG in daily life.
