[Las Vegas (USA) = AVING News] EVAR, Inc. (CEO Hoon Lee) held ‘CES’ held in Las Vegas, USA for a total of 2023 days from January 1 (Thursday) to January 5 (Sunday, local time), 8. Participated in the Eureka Park K-STARTUP Integrated Hall, a startup zone of 4.

Eva is a company that configures the most efficient charging infrastructure to suit the convenience of users for an ‘electric vehicle life without worrying about charging.’

The main products to be introduced at this exhibition are Smart EV Charger, which received the Innovation Award at CES, Van Mounted Charger (VMC), and Parky. As charging issues have recently emerged with the increase in electric vehicles, related solutions will be introduced. Smart EV Charger is a charger that applies load balancing between chargers using BLE, maximizing the efficiency of power use.

VMC, a charger that provides on-site charging services, has the advantage of being able to charge quickly, and you can also receive rapid charging when charging yourself. Emergency dispatch service is available for situations that may occur due to battery depletion while driving an electric vehicle, and it is an ‘On-Demand’ charger that goes to the customer’s desired location and charges it.

In addition, Parky is a charger that allows you to charge your car even if you park it anywhere. Eva introduced, “It can be considered the world’s first automatic charging robot that combines autonomous driving technology, charging technology, and battery technology,” and added, “With these various chargers, our company provides a solution that makes it easy to charge electric vehicles and uses energy efficiently. “We are providing it,” he added.

The background of product development was also revealed. An official said, “As we saw the ice in the North and South Poles melting rapidly due to global warming, we felt a sense of crisis and decided to pass on a livable planet to our children. “For this to happen, ‘decarbonization’ must come first, and I thought the way to practice this in real life was to reduce the use of fossil fuels,” he explained.

He continued, “However, in order to expand these eco-friendly vehicles, infrastructure distribution had to come first. “When Ford invented and developed the automobile, human convenience was accelerated by the expansion of roads, and we predicted that the expansion of eco-friendly vehicles through the spread of charger infrastructure would eventually become the cornerstone of creating a healthy planet,” he emphasized.

Smart EV Charger, a slow charger created based on this background, has already been recognized for its innovation at CES 2022, and ranked first among new chargers in Korea as well. Additionally, VMC is currently preparing a pilot project in Canada.

An official said, “We want to make the 2050 decarbonization plan a reality by showcasing Eva’s technology through CES, which is attended by countries around the world.” He added, “In the future, we will develop current chargers and develop autonomous charging robots capable of wireless charging and ultra-durable fast chargers. Additionally, we plan to develop and release a charger that can diagnose batteries. “We also want to develop a charger suitable for mechanical parking lots to increase the convenience of electric vehicle users being able to charge in a variety of environments.”

Additionally, “We plan to accelerate the spread of charging infrastructure by allowing anyone to run an electric vehicle charging business with a charging service platform that manages chargers in the cloud. In addition, we will continue to develop and commercialize decarbonization technologies related to electric vehicle charging,” he said.
