The CES Innovation Award is annually selected and awarded by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to products that demonstrate the world’s most outstanding technology and innovation through rigorous screening by a panel of expert judges.
‘Newbee’ is an autonomous robot developed and manufactured to enable stable autonomous driving even in urban environments with high autonomous driving complexity and positioning error rates. We used multi-camera-based V-SLAM instead of expensive LiDAR sensors, and internalized technologies such as sensor fusion for AI-based obstacle recognition and avoidance driving logic, and identification of driving environment and drivable area to provide accurate and reliable navigation even in dense building environments in urban areas.
