Unicelltech (CEO Kim Jung-soon) participated in ‘KOPLAS 3 (14th International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition)’ held at KINTEX in Ilsan for 18 days from Tuesday, March 5th to Saturday, March 2023th.
Unicelltech is a company specializing in static electricity and dust removal solutions established in 2012. Based on the technology and know-how accumulated over a long period of time in the related industry, we have developed an injection molding machine-installed ultra-small dust removal device and a self-generating powerless static eliminator, and have obtained numerous patents and international certifications for the core technologies applied to the product.
Kim Jung-soon, CEO of Unicelltech, emphasized that the goal was to expand the business area into the global market based on unique technological capabilities and provide innovative value to the world.
At this exhibition, Unicelltech presented a variety of its dust removal device products. Their representative product, the ‘Deduster’ series, can effectively separate palit-type dust generated when processing PMMA, PP, PC, etc.
This effect appears based on the air amplifier that creates the ‘COANDA Effect’ within the product. The Coanda effect refers to the phenomenon that when fluid flows in contact with a curved surface, it flows along the curvature of the curved surface instead of flowing in a straight line. At the same time, dust in the raw materials is separated by an air flow that amplifies a small amount of compressed air dozens of times, so a separate external blower is not used.
This is an ultra-small dust remover equipped with a glass tube and sensor, and the bottom of the hopper dryer can be installed in series with the injection molding machine. Depending on the structure, there are additional advantages of improved space efficiency and convenience of installation and maintenance.
The diduster series consists of three models: ▲C-30 ▲C-80 ▲C-800, and these products can process 3kg, 30kg, and 80kg of dust per hour, respectively. To date, it has been exported to overseas companies such as Pelletron of the United States, Bismack of Italy, and Matsui of Japan.
An official from Unicelltech said, “We are verifying the safety of our products by obtaining international certifications such as CE, UKCA, and ATEX, and we have the potential to enter other countries and markets in the future.” He added, “We are different from others. “We will continue to grow our development capabilities in accordance with our philosophy of creating value through technological innovation,” he emphasized.
On the other hand, KOPLAS, which celebrated its 2023th anniversary in 27, provides various attractions from raw materials for plastics to molds, processing machines, related auxiliary devices, automation solutions, printing, packaging, semi-finished products, and finished products, and presents the present and future of related industries. A ‘place for the plastic rubber-related industry’ was established. As it was held concurrently with the Korea Material·Composite Materials and Equipment Exhibition (K-Mtech) and the International Mold and Related Equipment Exhibition (INTERMOLD KOREA), various products were introduced in one place.
