Hanyang Robotics Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Jong-won) participated in ‘KOPLAS 3 (14th International Plastics and Rubber Industry Exhibition)’ held at KINTEX, Ilsan for 18 days from March 5 (Tue) to 2023 (Sat). .
Hanyang Robotics started its business in 1988 as its predecessor ‘Hanyang Engineering’ and has been leading the automation of plastic molding factories in Korea by developing release agent sprayers. Later, in 1995, it succeeded in developing a servo motor type take-out robot for the first time in the industry, contributing to localization and cost reduction for customers.
At this exhibition, Hanyang Robotics introduced a large number of process automation robots that will represent its robotics technology, and at the same time, introduced a new 6-axis articulated robot for the first time.
Their 6-axis articulated robots enable more general-purpose handling tasks to strengthen synergies between the robot manufacturing division and the automation division. It went through a hardware design tailored to the product’s purpose of handling, and when replacing handling tools, the air unit for this is installed at the end of the robot, making it easy to attach and detach. Furthermore, officials explain that in processes and applications that require handling, it demonstrates a productivity improvement effect of 20 to 30% compared to similar products of competitors.
Unlike general 6-axis robots, it is a product that can perform various tasks with an expected payload of 1 to 10 kg in the form of adding a rotation axis 150 that becomes the robot base instead of a driving axis. At the same time, the intuitive operation interface applied to ‘H5′, one of Hanyang Robotics’ series of injection-only hybrid articulated robots, was applied. It is characterized by an icon-based GUI and easy language composition to make it easy for anyone to operate and operate.
An official from Hanyang Robotics said, “We are committed to providing customers with superior value than our competitors, and we do not want to stop changing to continue technological innovation at the highest level.” We think first of what it is to do, and actively reflect it in designing and developing products.”
“In particular, our robots implement high-precision motions and have the advantage that workers can easily utilize them, so they realize automation more efficiently,” he added. “We will improve reliability with such customer-friendly industrial automation solutions.” .
On the other hand, KOPLAS, which celebrated its 2023th anniversary in 27, provides various attractions from raw materials for plastics to molds, processing machines, related auxiliary devices, automation solutions, printing, packaging, semi-finished products, and finished products, and presents the present and future of related industries. A ‘place for the plastic rubber-related industry’ was established. As it was held concurrently with the Korea Material·Composite Materials and Equipment Exhibition (K-Mtech) and the International Mold and Related Equipment Exhibition (INTERMOLD KOREA), various products were introduced in one place.
