
K&K Cosmetic Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim In-ho) will hold the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, July 26th to Friday, July 28th. 3).
K&K Cosmetics, established in January of this year, develops cosmetic raw materials using agricultural products and their by-products related to the Rural Development Administration’s patent technology transfer agreement (Patent No. 1-10) and applies them to products to generate income for farmers and protect the environment. We are researching and developing practical technologies for this purpose.
It has been selected for the 2023 Agricultural and Food Venture Promotion Project (Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency). Following registration as a responsible sales business for cosmetics, the company added manufacturing of cosmetics and cosmetic raw materials, applied for trademark registration for ‘PPYORUNA’, and launched a pimple serum for skin trouble care. We began selling in open markets in June 2023, and are planning to enter offline and overseas markets.
K&K Cosmetics’ Pimple Serum, which will be showcased at this exhibition, is a product developed for the purpose of solving various skin problems, including acne. The official explained that useful substances were quickly delivered to problem areas to provide immediate results, and that the safety of the product was given top priority to prevent allergies or other skin infections.
K&K Cosmetics said, “By participating in AFRO 2023, we will widely publicize that domestic agricultural products can be used as high-value cosmetic raw materials,” and added, “We also aim to receive investment to further develop various materials.” The background to participation was explained.

He continued, “In the future, we will develop and apply natural preservatives and preservatives using ingredients derived from agricultural products to cleansing products and three types of basic products (skin, serum, and cream) related to strong UV protection and skin aging prevention + whitening.”
Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
