Daedong Mobility (CEO Yu-hyun Won) participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024), held at EXCO from October 23 (Wednesday) to October 26 (Saturday).

Daedong Mobility is a leading small-scale mobility company in Korea, founded by “Korea Chain Industries,” in 1977. Initially focused on industrial chain supply, the company rapidly expanded, advancing process automation across various industries. Over time, it extended its expertise to manufacturing gardening and leisure vehicles.

Building on decades of mobility experience, the company identified e-mobility as a new growth driver and rebranded to its current name in 2021. Since then, Daedong Mobility has diversified its eco-friendly electric mobility portfolio to meet varying market demands.

At FIX 2024, the company showcased an extensive lineup, including its flagship GS100 electric scooter series, battery swapping stations (BSS), premium golf carts, autonomous smart chairs, and logistics robots, demonstrating its technological prowess.

The GS100 series stands out with a localization rate of 92%, addressing the high reliance on imports in Korea’s e-mobility market. Its advantages include high-quality production, rapid after-sales support, and compatibility with Korean BSS platforms. Users benefit from minimal charging stress, as the model supports proprietary and third-party shared batteries.

Additionally, the smart chair and logistics robots—developed through collaboration within Daedong Group—received praise for their stable autonomous driving, robust safety features, and productivity-enhancing automation.

A Daedong Mobility representative stated, “Our goal is to develop innovative technologies for a sustainable future, providing human-centered smart mobility solutions. We are committed to creating safe and convenient transportation options and aim to lead the transformation of future transportation environments as a global leader.”

The representative added, “We are thrilled to showcase Daedong Group’s 77 years of technological expertise at FIX 2024, often called Korea’s CES. As a company rooted in Korea and Daegu, we take great pride in presenting our localized technologies and products to a diverse international audience.”
