    Kennametal Korea (CEO David Lee) participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024), held at EXCO from October 23 (Wednesday) to October 26 (Saturday).  

    Kennametal Korea is the Korean subsidiary of Kennametal Group, a leading U.S.-based cutting tool company and one of the top two players in the global industry. Established in 1938, the group has over 80 years of experience, providing engineering services across general engineering, energy, aerospace, automotive, and construction sectors.  

    The company’s cutting tool division develops and manufactures various products tailored for applications like turning, hole-making, solid-end milling, indexable milling, and tooling. Its infrastructure division complements these offerings with industrial solutions, materials, and construction infrastructure products, earning global recognition for its advanced technology and quality.  

    At FIX 2024, Kennametal Korea presented a diverse lineup of cutting tools tailored to customer needs, targeting domestic attendees and mobility industry professionals.  

    With expertise in processing advanced metals and non-metals, the Kennametal Group showcased its capabilities in manufacturing universal and specialized drills for electric vehicle production, internal combustion and hybrid vehicles, aircraft, energy, and secondary batteries.

    The booth featured a range of tools, including simple and high-precision specialty tools and drills applicable to aerospace, defense, automotive crankshaft, and turbocharger projects. This comprehensive portfolio helped boost brand recognition among industry professionals and general visitors.  

    A Kennametal Korea representative commented, “As a B2B-focused company, opportunities to raise awareness of our brand among non-specialist audiences are rare. Successfully wrapping up this exhibition, we made a lasting impression of Kennametal’s expertise and innovation to a broader audience, enhancing trust in our capabilities across industries.”

    FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
