Micromeritics Korea (CEO Byunghee Kang) participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024), held at EXCO from October 23 (Wednesday) to October 26 (Saturday).

Micromeritics is a global provider of high-performance laboratory equipment for analyzing materials in various advanced technology research fields. The company develops and supplies precise measurement solutions with proprietary technology, enabling reliable characterization of particles, powders, and porous materials based on their physical properties, chemical activity, and flow behavior.

With research and manufacturing facilities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Spain, Micromeritics has established its presence in over 10,000 laboratories worldwide, including those of companies, government agencies, and academic institutions, earning significant brand value recognition.

At FIX 2024, Micromeritics showcased a range of high-precision research equipment supporting the full lifecycle of lithium-ion battery manufacturing. Notably, the gas pycnometer ‘AccuPyc,’ which ensures consistent quality by measuring particle size and purity of precursors, was highlighted as offering 20–30% faster measurement speed and greater convenience than competitors.

The company also introduced the ‘FT4 Powder Rheometer,’ a universal powder flow tester capable of reproducing various test methods, including process variables, bulk properties, unique dynamic flow, and fully automated shear cells (ASTM standard). Another focus was the ‘TriStar 2 Plus,’ which measures the reception characteristics of electrodes and separators, offering specialized features for battery quality assurance and management, capturing significant visitor interest.
