MACEV Ltd. (CEO Yongho Kim) participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held at EXCO from October 23 to 26. There, it introduced its innovative tricycle electric vehicle, designed to improve logistics efficiency and convenience.
Established in 2020, MACEV focuses on developing special-purpose electric vehicles and is a subsidiary of KAAON, known for its proprietary battery technologies. The company specializes in compact cars and personal mobility solutions and offers customized one-stop solutions for stamping, sheet metal processing, body production, cutting, and welding.
MACEV’s tricycle EV features a compact design, measuring 2,500 × 860 × 1,850 cm, similar to a two-wheeler. It boasts enhanced maneuverability and agility while maintaining functionality for logistics operations. With a maximum payload capacity of 100 kg and a range of up to 100 km, the vehicle is equipped with advanced technology to ensure horizontal stability for cargo, even under challenging conditions such as cornering or climbing inclines. These capabilities make it an ideal solution for “last-mile” delivery, addressing critical needs in the logistics sector.
A representative from MACEV stated, “Our tricycle electric vehicle is designed to meet the expanding demand for versatile logistics services. It enables seamless mobility even to less accessible areas within neighborhoods, supporting small-scale logistics services like personal deliveries and on-demand transport.”
The representative added, “We recently completed development and showcased the product at FIX 2024 to gauge market reactions ahead of its official launch. Attendees’ response has been overwhelmingly positive, with significant interest in the vehicle’s potential for various applications. Additionally, our in-hItouse-developed lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery has been highly praised for its safety and stability.”
MACEV’s tricycle EV, with its focus on efficiency, safety, and versatility, is poised to play a vital role in transforming urban logistics.
