MooinAuto Co., Ltd. (CEO Byungho Song) participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held at EXCO from October 23 to 26. There, it introduced its flagship Parts Feeder solution.
MooinAuto specializes in implementing total auto-feeding systems, offering products such as Parts Feeders, Ball Feeders, Rotary Feeders, and Performance Feeders. These systems are crucial for automating component supply in the automotive, electronics, medical devices, and machinery assembly industries.
The Rotary Feeder handles bulk materials in sectors like food, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and plastics, ensuring efficient transportation, distribution, and processing of materials. Meanwhile, the Performance Feeder efficiently supplies parts and materials in automated production systems.
At FIX 2024, MooinAuto demonstrated an automated feeding system utilizing its Parts Feeder in partnership with Puren Robotics.
The Parts Feeder is designed to align and supply workpieces with consistent orientation and posture, enabling robotic handling in automated molding systems. Vibratory feeders, including bowl and linear types, are commonly combined. The feeder system aligns and transfers workpieces to a robot-friendly position using mechanical methods and sensors to determine orientation.
Traditionally, feeders had to be rebuilt for each workpiece type, with fixed designs for bowls and sensors. However, advancements in vision processing and industrial robotics have allowed the development of systems capable of adapting to similar workpieces through software program adjustments.
A representative from MooinAuto stated, “With 35 years of experience and eight patents, we are leading the market. This month, we launched our India subsidiary to deliver cost-effective, high-quality products to our customers.”
FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
