Ciel Mobility (CEO Muyoul Park) participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO. As Korea’s first company to commercialize demand-responsive transport (DRT) services, Ciel Mobility has established itself as a leader in the mobility industry.

Since its founding in 2012, the company has implemented innovative technologies and expanded its business areas. It now provides integrated commuting and school bus management solutions to major municipalities, leading corporations, and educational institutions in Korea. Leveraging its extensive experience in demand-responsive mobility platforms, Ciel Mobility plans to enhance its services further to meet evolving transportation needs.

At FIX 2024, the company introduced its integrated mobility platform, Mobble. This mobile application simplifies access to various transportation services and focuses on efficient travel support for users.

To ensure the smooth operation of the Mobble platform, Ciel Mobility has integrated a real-time traffic management system. This system provides real-time information on vehicle locations and traffic flow, improving user convenience and enabling swift responses to potential incidents, thereby minimizing traffic congestion.

The Mobble platform also includes a convenient bus reservation system that facilitates on-time boarding and disembarking. The platform enhances employees’ daily commutes and reduces peak-time congestion by addressing rush hour challenges in densely populated residential and work areas.

A Ciel Mobility representative stated, “Through various pilot projects across regions, we have demonstrated the convenience and efficiency of our Mobble platform. Our presence at FIX 2024 showcases our advanced smart mobility systems and services, such as corporate car-sharing, on-demand EV charging, and DRT-based commuting buses.”

The representative added, “We will continue to conduct thorough market analyses to identify areas where supply meets demand, fostering a virtuous cycle of customer and operator expansion. Building on our achievements in traffic-challenged regions, we plan to extend our Mobble MOD services into the public transportation sector, driving long-term growth for the company.”

FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
