IMS.Connect (CEO Sung-Oh Yoo) participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO. The company specializes in mobility data platforms and utilizes IoT and AI technologies to collect and analyze vehicle data in real-time, reducing the cost of digitalizing vehicle operations and management.
They cater to a diverse range of industries—including logistics, freight, municipal fleets, corporate fleets, rental cars, taxis, and buses—IMS.Connect provides tailored services to meet specific operational needs. Beyond simple monitoring, their digital platform offers practical solutions for reducing costs and improving vehicle operational efficiency.
At FIX 2024, IMS.Connect introduced its flagship service, MWS (Mobility-data Web Service). The platform collects over 27 types of vehicle data in real-time using IoT devices installed in vehicles. AI models process and analyze this data to provide actionable insights tailored to customer needs.
MWS offers data points on deceleration, idling time, fuel consumption, safety scores, fuel efficiency, and vehicle utilization rates. By delivering comprehensive and meaningful data, IMS.Connect’s digital solutions promote safe driving, reduce accident rates, improve fuel efficiency, lower fuel costs, and even cut expenses like insurance premiums.
Additionally, IMS.Connect showcased other mobility-related digital platforms, such as fire prevention solutions for electric vehicles (EVs) using BMS (Battery Management System) technology.
An IMS.Connect representative stated, “This exhibition is an opportunity to expand our network with domestic and international buyers, paving the way for new business opportunities. We aim to strengthen our global presence by showcasing our platform’s differentiated functionality and efficiency.”
The representative added, “We will continue to advance MWS through ongoing R&D to collect and analyze an even wider range of data. Given the increasing concerns surrounding EV fires, we plan to enhance BMS support and prioritize safety in our future services.”
