Woojin Industrial Systems participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO.

Founded in 1974, alongside introducing subways in Korea, Woojin Industrial Systems has become a leader in eco-friendly transportation and power systems. Leveraging its advanced technologies and expertise in rail vehicles and smart energy, the company successfully developed and commercialized bimodal trams and electric buses.

At this year’s exhibition, Woojin drew attention with its “APOLLO 900 Rapid Charging Low-Floor Electric Bus.” This eco-friendly bus uses electricity stored from rapid charging as its power source. Equipped with a one-motor system, the APOLLO 900 delivers exceptional output performance, ease of maintenance, and high durability.

The bus’s aluminum body reduces vehicle weight, improves performance, and extends its lifespan through enhanced corrosion resistance. It also has a high-efficiency, large-capacity electric air conditioner for comfortable summer operations. Its 172.4 kWh high-efficiency battery allows a driving range of up to 222 km.

The APOLLO 900 includes an electronically controlled wide air suspension and a kneeling system. These features enable the bus to adjust automatically based on road and operating conditions. Drivers can also manually control the bus’s height, and the kneeling function aids passengers during boarding and alighting.
